Succession planning is defined as identification and development of potential successors for key positions in an organization, through a systematic evaluation process and training.

Lately I’ve noticed a significant shift in what clients are looking for in a candidate. While candidates still need to have key skills and expertise required to succeed in a specific role, there is growing emphasis placed on that gray area that can be challenging to articulate.

I have heard several questions about diversity recruitment services the last decade: Do you focus on diversity placements? Are there firms that focus on this solely?

Thomas Corley, author of “Rich Habits: The Daily Success Habits of Wealthy Individuals,” spent five years studying more than 200 self-made millionaires and found that 86 percent read instead of watching television and 63 percent listen to audiobooks every day during their morning commute.
