This newly created position was developed to help support the organization’s continued growth across the country and expansion in the Midwest. Ideally, this position will be based in St. Louis, Kansas City or Memphis but other locations in the Midwest will be considered.

About the Position:
We are looking for a highly motivated, growth-oriented leader with a solid understanding of hospital and physician practice settings and a commitment to operational excellence. Reporting to the COO, the Vice President will play an integral role in growing the Central region and enhancing the company's infrastructure to support the high-touch, customer service-driven business model. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in collaborative, highly accountable environments and excels at building and cultivating relationships with senior level hospital executives and physicians. Excellent communication skills, high integrity and flexibility are critical components to this position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction for the overall operation of assigned contracts by planning, directing the daily activities and coordinating the development of future objectives.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationship with contracted clients. Responsible for implementation and management of service commitments to clients focusing on initial program startup, ongoing management and renewal process.
- Take such steps as are necessary to ensure that all processes, services and systems are designed and executed in such a way as to guarantee that the requirements of the customer (internal and external) needs are met and contract renewal is obtained.
- Work closely with the COO, Medical Directors and fellow senior management team to develop and execute operations plans and strategies for each contract that support the company’s short and long-term goals.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in a high-level operations role in the healthcare industry.
- 5-10 years experience interacting with healthcare executives and physicians in hospital and/or practice management setting is required.
- Must have experience with professional level presentations, contract negotiations and conflict resolution.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience directly managing a team of individuals.
- Superior leadership skills required.
- Proven ability to support multiple projects and work with multiple people simultaneously.
- Customer service driven work ethic.
Education:
- BA or BS Degree required; MHA or MBA with an emphasis in healthcare administration is preferred.
