Paula Morgan, RN
Paula has matched talented healthcare leaders with leading healthcare companies for 20 years. She brings to her work a broad view of healthcare, extending well beyond the specifications and requirements of a single position. Under Paula's leadership, Morgan Consulting Resources has grown to a nationwide healthcare search firm serving all of the United States and Puerto Rico.
Paula has a gift for building relationships, in part because she has a great sense of humor and, while she's serious about her work, she doesn't take herself too seriously. She is so good at connecting with others that most of her clients come as referrals from those who have worked with and valued the thorough and responsive search process she designed. Paula always strives for the perfect match between the healthcare client and the talented leader that will fit the position, the company and match well with the candidate's career and life goals.
In addition to heading Morgan Consulting Resources, Paula puts her time and energy into ensuring a thriving nursing profession. She currently serves as a member of the Board of the Meritus College Fund, raising funds for nursing scholarships for aspiring nurses who would otherwise be unable to pursue their professional dream. She is an active member of the Southern Nevada Medical Industry Coalition Education Task Force, focused on issues around nursing education.
Before founding Morgan Consulting Resources, Paula served in senior leadership positions with Sierra Health Services, the largest managed care organization in Nevada, which was recently acquired by United Health Group. She has been a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives and an active member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a member of AHIP and has continued her education via Executive Courses at Harvard and Wharton. She is often an expert presenter for regional and national healthcare organizations on topics related to effective hiring practices and career opportunities in the healthcare marketplace.
If there were more hours in the day, Paula would spend them flying and honing her skills as a Multi Engine, Instrument rated pilot.
